CCTV is not used for routine monitoring of patients or staff.

What Information is Collected?

The system records video images of individuals entering, leaving or present within monitored areas.

How Long are Recordings Kept?

Recordings are normally retained for approximately 30 days before being automatically overwritten. Recordings may be retained for longer where required, for example:

Investigation of incidents
Insurance claims
Legal proceedings
Criminal investigations

Who Can Access Recordings?

Access is restricted to authorised personnel only. Recordings may be disclosed to, for example, police and law enforcement agencies, insurers, legal advisors and regulatory authorities, where lawful and necessary.

Your Rights

You may have rights to request access to images of yourself recorded by our CCTV systems. Requests should be made in writing, and sufficient information may be required to identify the relevant footage.
