45 minStation Road

Service Description

The purpose of a biomechanical assessment is to identify any structural or functional deformities affecting the lower limbs and feet. There are typically three parts: Non-weight bearing assessments (sitting down), weight bearing assessments (standing up) and gait assessments (walking). Using the results of these assessments, your podiatrist will be able to suggest your most effective treatment plan, which can include: orthotic intervention (insoles – prices vary, please ask your podiatrist for more information), footwear and/or stretching advice, referrals for further investigation if necessary.
